Biography

• also called de Podio.
• was born in Bologna
• 19^th February 1433: Doctor utrumque iuris.
• 1433-1445: Professor.
• 1439: Canon of the Cathedral.
• 1446: Vicar General of Bishop Tomaso Parentucelli (later Pope Nicholas V.).
• 22.March 1447: Bishop of Bologna.
• 1477: was called to Rome as Governor of Rome and vice-chancellor of the Roman Church.
• Death: 13. December 1477 (rumor that he was murdered).
