it is not sure, if this work was made by the same Johannes Galensis, Ritter distinguishes between 1.) a canonist who died in 1194 and wrote theCompliationes decretaliumand 2.) an English Canonist who wrote theCompilatio secunda(1210/12) and Glosses to theCompilatio Tertia.
